GeoNumerics, new partner of the Plataforma Aeroespacial Española (PAE).

Geonumerics, is proud to announce its incorporation as a new member of the Plataforma Aeroespacial Española (PAE), a collaborative Spanish aerospace technology platform that brings together around 85 entities, including companies, research centers, universities and public institutions.

By joining PAE, GeoNumerics strengthens its commitment to collaboration and innovation within the Spanish aerospace ecosystem. As an R&D-intensive company based in Castelldefels (Barcelona), GeoNumerics develops advanced geomatic and navigation technologies for high-precision positioning, sensor calibration, and multi-sensor integration in aerospace and defense applications.

As a new member, GeoNumerics looks forward to contributing its experience and supporting the joint mission of enhancing the competitiveness and technological sovereignty of the Spanish and European aerospace sectors.

The main purpose of PAE is to serve as a national forum for aerospace research, development and innovation, fostering collaboration, generating strategic research agendas and representing Spain’s aerospace interests in both national and international forums. Its key objectives include being a meeting place for all stakeholders in Spanish aerospace R&D&I, defining a Strategic Research Agenda for the Spanish aerospace sector, and acting as an advisory body representing Spain in national and international aerospace R&D&I forums.

“By being a member of the PAE, organizations as GeoNumerics gain access to collaborative networks, events and opportunities to shape Spain’s aerospace research and innovation landscape” said Ismael Colomina, CEO of GeoNumerics.

GeoNumerics is a research and development (R&D) intensive SME specializing in geomatics and navigation. The company focuses on developing state-of-the-art methods and algorithms for positioning, orientation, and navigation, particularly for determining and analysing the trajectories of land, air, and space vehicles through the integration of data from multiple sensors such as INS (Inertial Navigation Systems) and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems).

PAE is an organization that aims to align the aerospace sector in Spain strategically around shared innovation goals, facilitate cooperation in projects, and support public administration in defining sectorial plans for innovation funding and development. It organizes working groups and activities to drive research priorities across aeronautics and space, focusing on competitiveness, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
